Come help kick off a new year of Taste of Classes! Join us in this 3-hour workshop of hand wet felting. Nancy will guild us through the process of binding fibers using soap and water. Hands on instructions include the felting process, embellishment, cutting, mending, shaping and finishing. The results are a beautiful flower that can be used in many creative ways.
Participants should bring a small towel (for drying hands),
A bowl, metal or plastic, big enough to hold hold about 3 cups of water
Small pointed scissors.
Students may also wish to bring an apron and small piece of drawer liner or place mat (12-14”).
Supplies for this workshop include 4 or 5 colors of Merino wool that can be purchased from Nancy in the class $5.00. Students are welcome to bring their own Merino wool.
Each flowers requires about 5-6 grams wool. Merino is preferred. We will use 4 to 5 colors
